Here comes the BRIDE!!

MARCH 17th 2012.. Is the BIG DAY!!!

WHOO HOOO is it March yet? If you haven't already heard David and I are getting married!! He proposed to me at the top of the Eiffel Tower while we were on vacation in June. I had hoped and wondered and speculated before we left, but I never really thought it was going to actually happen. I talked myself out of it.. didn't want to get my hopes up. Never EVER imagined David would be brave enough to carry my beautiful ring all the way over there! But he did.. and it was WONDERFUL!! My ring couldn't be any more perfect.. I look at it all the time and can't imagine wanting anything different. I never knew what I wanted in a ring.. but this is it! It is timeless and elegant and everything I could ever wish for. In a little more than five months we will be Mr. and Mrs. Schimelpfenig. I can't wait to take his name.. all 13 letters of it. I have done alot of the wedding stuff, just have a few more things to plan, and little detail sort of stuff. I ordered my dress and it will be here in January. My dress is everything I could have hoped for also. It was such an easy and wonderful process, picking it out. I don't know how that happened but I am so grateful it did. I was expecting to hate everything.. I was expecting the be the girl going from bridal shop to bridal shop pulling my hair out.. but it was exactly the opposite. Well until next time..

Is it May 28th yet???

Ughhh I can NOT wait to head out! We are heading to Europe in exactly 6 work weeks! Yes I am totally counting down...my biggest fear? What shoes to bring??? I have one really good pair.. but not quite sure on the other ones. But anyways besides my clothes problems.. We are flying into Amsterdam.. then heading to Belgium and then France and on to Switzerland, then up through Germany! We are going to see sooo much in two and a half weeks. It is going to be like the amazing race. I can't even imgaine how it is going to go down... David has me on the train by 6 A.M. some days..who gets up that early on vacation??? Not me!! Oh well.. gotta make the most of our time I suppose. Does it make me weird if I already want to pack my bags??

Hello Friends, Spring is coming are you ready? Super bowl is over.. days are getting longer.. I am starting to plan my summer vacations... This is the time of year when I get antsy! It isn't quite spring, not really winter..and makes me dream of summer time of the year! Valentines Day is Monday... got any plans? We are going out on Saturday night to an undisclosed location. Since David gets off pretty late on weekdays we decided to go out Saturday night instead.. and I will make him a Valentines dinner on Monday night at his house when he gets off work! Gosh.. I don't really have to much to say, except I got to looking at other peoples blogs this afternoon and realized mine is sorely lacking. Ihave nothing clever or cool to say.. not much going on.. no good pics... Just ME! So thats all yah get!

Snow Walking

Can you guess what I got for Christmas? Snowshoes!! I didn't know they were so fun... and to be honest I didn't even know I wanted them.. but now that I have used them twice, I love them! Happy New Year everyone! This Christmas was another good one. Lots of food, fun and family. For New Years we headed to a Winterhawks game at the Rose Garden... pretty low key but nice. They did a midnight balloon drop with money in some of them... of course neither of us got one with money. But thats to be expected right! Then we headed up to Mt. St. Helens and went snow shoeing the next day. We went around cold water lake.. that is the pic above. This place is heaven, we have been there once before when it wasn't snow covered and it is such a nice hike, and it was even funner to snowshoe around. My next thing is to get out on the lake in a kayak. I WANT A KAYAK BAD! But I have to get a rack to carry it around with first. So what does 2011 hold for me? I am not sure, I have a few things I am hoping for in 2011 but I will keep those to myself. I am sure to have some adventures... and vacations! Until next time!

Can you guess where I am heading???

Yay! David is gone this whole week hiking with his friend around Mt. Hood on the Pacific Crest Trail, but when he gets home we are headed up to Vancouver B.C. for the week! I am so excited! I have been there, but just for the day... I have never really stayed and explored. We are going to rent bikes or mopeds and ride them around Stanley park. We are going to go to a really cool hot springs that you can only get to by boat! We might go whale watching... we are going to a really cool suspension bridge. This makes not talking or seeing him for a whole week... OK.. because I know when he gets back we are out of here for a week! And then my friends.. I am afraid to tell you this.. but.... dun dun dun.. The HOLIDAY season will be upon us.. before we know it, Halloween.. and then that slips right into Thanksgiving and HELLO CHRISTMAS! Are you ready?? I'm NOT! Lets not get to carried away... For now I am just going to look ahead to CANADA!!

This is David and I on our first real date! We met for the first time in "Real Life" on August 13th 2009.. one yr ago tomorrow. We had been talking on the phone and internet for about 3 months.. before I finally agreed to go out with him. I remember like it was yesterday... I kept putting him off, canceling dates the morning of... saying I would go to stuff when I really had no intention of following through..I don't know what I was thinking! But let me tell you.. THAT ALL CHANGED WHEN I MET HIM IN REAL LIFE! Until I actually met the person behind the voice and the typing.. all was fair in love and war! I actually told him at one point.. He was never going to meet me, and he should give the concert ticket he had bought me to someone else cause I wasn't gonna go. The night of the concert, I ended up going to (our third date) was our first kiss! Gosh.. If I could go back I wouldn't have been so LAME! Anyways.. He text me about 9 am in the middle of the week and asked me if I wanted to meet him for lunch on my break... because he randomly had the day off for a dentist appt. I remember telling my mom "well I ran out of excuses...I guess I will have to go." Now that I look back on it.. It wasn't even about David.. It was more about me... It wasn't that I didn't like him, I just actually thought he wouldn't like me. Anyways, So I met him really close to my office at a little teriyaki place. I remember driving up and not wanting to get out of the car. I was on the phone with Katie and she talked me into it.. seriously..I don't know why I was so nervous. I drove around the parking lot, debating if I was gonna actually go or just drive away, when he saw me. Soooo I had to park and get out! And things went great.. I really liked him! Shortly after that.. about a week later we went hiking. (pictures above)

I always tell him I like our story, that I was so wrong... and ended up falling in love. That makes it so much more interesting. Gives us character.. hahahah. He says "I was just mean." But whatever you wanna call it.. I have to say it was God's plan, not mine or his!

Lilith Fair 7/03/10 The Gorge in George!

Hello! How is your summer? Mine is going great! I wish I could be outside more.... but someone has to pay the bills! This yr. has been full of concerts... We just got back from Lilith Fair... we are going to Third Day this weekend.. we had tickets to U2 but that was canceled cause Bono had back surgery.. Bob Dylan was a few months ago.. and we are going to him again with John Mellencamp, Willie Nelson in Sept.. and that is just to name a few. What can I say, David loves live music. I of coarse do too.. but I was always the type who just loved it.. but never bought the tickets.. and then wished I would have.. he actually purchases stuff and goes to it.. what a concept?!!! The reason I love concerts besides the obvious fact that it is entertaining and awesome to see someone live... Is that it gives me something to look forward to. I have realized lately I live, to look forward to stuff. If I have something in the future planned it keeps me going.. gets me through all the boring days at work, the sitting inside while the sun shines. So for now I am looking forward to seeing Mac Powell this weekend... and if you know me at all.. you know Mac is my Guy!

TO LOOK FORWARD TO!!!!!!!!!

This is a pic I stole of a cool house in New Mexico! So I am so excited sitting here at work thinking about the fun stuff I have in store! This Friday I have the James Taylor concert... Then I leave for vacation on the 29th of this month, for two weeks. We are going to be flying into Albuquerque New Mexico and picking up our rental car. We are going to be looking at tons of stuff around New Mexico...( for some strange reason, I have always wanted to go to NM) White water rafting the Rio Grande.. and then off to Texas.. we are going to see the Alamo, NASA, Six Flags and Sea World, and everything else we feel like looking at. Then we are heading east to Louisiana! New Orleans and all that Jazz! And then up to Arkansas to go to Hot Springs National Park, a pit stop in Oklahoma City.. and much more. I don't really have time to list all the stuff we want to see.. but lets just say IT IS ALOT! But I am so excited!!! Then when we get home, there is the U2 concert... David's Bday, my Bday, our 1 yr. Anniversary..... Gosh... I am tired just thinking about all of it. But I wouldn't want it ANY other way! BRING IT ON!!!!

Why does my life have to be difficult?

I DON'T WANT TO MOVEEEE!!!!!!! But it looks like we are going to have to! I just moved in and now I am moving out? I don't know if I have said this before, but I HATE CHANGE! That my friends is the only reason I don't want to move. I have a fear of the unknown! WHAT IF??? WHAT IF??? And I really like our large living room... But, WE HAVE MOLD! Kayli's room is full of mold.... she has been sleeping on the living room fold out couch bed. And now there are spots in my room.. The landlord has tried to clean it.. but I am thinking there is no bleach and water solution for this problem! I think it may just be spreading it around. So.... It has been long enough of Kayli not having her own room.. and I have had enough of that musty wet place making my clothes stinky and damp. So the we must start the search for a new CASA! Wish us luck!

Hiker Guy

So.... When I first met David, I called him "Hiker Guy" instead of David, to everyone but him.

And turns out that is exactly what he is! A HIKER GUY! I have gone on more hikes in the last 7 months then my whole entire 26 yrs of living. I have never ever hiked in the winter.. I didn't even have winter hiking boots.. only summer hiking sandals. So first things first.. He took me over to REI and we picked out a good pair of hiking boots. Fast forward 7 months and I am hiking almost every weekend. That is not to say I am the best hiker... I have definitely got better... but still have a long way to go. Some days I do really good.. and some other days I just want to sit down and pitch a fit! Some how he always gets me to go further then I ever intended on going in the first place. He almost sneaks in more miles then he originally promised!! But over all there is almost nothing more I would rather be doing on a Saturday afternoon, then hiking with my Honey, with a lunch in my backpack, walking my dog! Although sometimes I am cursing my decision to fall in love with a Hiker Guy, while I climb endless switchbacks... It is ALWAYS worth it in the end! I am so looking forward to warm summer hikes, that involve swimming in random bodies of water we come across this summer! Happy Hiking!

Holiday Spirit

I am finally starting to feel The Holiday Spirit. I was getting worried there for a minute... I was kind of not into Christmas.. I think it was just too soon! But now I am feeling like listening to Christmas music, decorating, buying gifts.. The whole shootin match! Me and David went down and looked at the Christmas tree in Esther Short park.. it was super pretty.. but wayyy cold! I can't wait for all the Christmas parties and gift exchanges! Also I want to remember the people this yr. that don't have all the Christmas fun that I do... I am thinking about what I can do to help.... any good ideas? I am thinking about getting some toys at the store to donate.. helping out at church with making sandwiches and bringing them down to the homeless... David and I tried this Sunday after church..but by the time we got to the kitchen at the church they were pretty much done.. so we are going to try again next week! Well until next time! Pumpkin Patch......

This past weekend David and I went to the pumpkin patch! I haven't been in a few yrs.. and I haven't carved a pumpkin in I don't know how long! Tonight I am going over to his house to carve my pumpkin.. I am excited! I always do the same old same old pumpkin face.. triangle eyes and nose and a missing teeth mouth.. I need to google pumpkin carving while I am sitting here at work... with not much to do, and get some better pumpkin ideas. Well I am moving in 13 days and I am not proud to say.... I haven't done a thing! I have bought quite a bit.. and my current bedroom is a disaster.. and I know that my new room is alot smaller.. and I haven't done any downsizing, only upsizing! Needless to say, I have got to get to work and start getting rid of the things I don't really need! Goodwill drop off here I come! Until next time... Happy FALL! Gabby

So things are finally changing in my life! For the longest time I have felt like nothing much was really happening. I have done alot of fun stuff.. but I felt like if someone hadn't talked to me in a long time.. nothing much was really different.. stuck in the same old rut! Well, first off I have met a really great guy! I am so lucky to have met him.. and have him in my life. He is so full of adventure and up for ANYTHING! He always wants to try new stuff.. and can always come up with something fun and different to do or see. But even if we are just sitting at home.. he is so great to just be around! And second, I am finally moving out Nov. 1st!!! I am a little scared I won't lie.. but def more excited then scared! It is going to be so fun.. I am going to be living with my cousin Kayli, and we are going to have the cutest pad in town! What I am really excited for, is to be able to pull out all the stuff I have bought over the years and look at it all! I have forgotten about so many little things that I have bought.. that its going to be like Chirstmas! Speaking of Christmas.. I can't believe the holidays are just around the corner! SO excited! Hello Everyone! I am still alive I swear! I haven't taken pics in a long TIME! I guess I have been busy working on myself. As of today I am down 62 lbs! I has been a longggg and drawn out process, but I think in the end I have done it the slow and permanent way. I feel like I have really changed my life style and not just been on a diet. I have become so much more active, and not just for weight loss purposes.. just because when you lose weight you want to try stuff you didn't want to do before. Like Soccer! I love it.. and I am so happy when I can get out there and run run run! So anyways I have a goal of about 17 more lbs by July.. originally it was the first of July.. but the end of July will due. So when I reach that goal I think I will post a few before and after pics... I have been looking at allot of my before pics lately.. and lets just say.. I am SOOO happy that's not me anymore! Today me and my mom took Lilly and Addy down to Esther Short Park and took some pics! It was really fun and the girls did such a good job.. they are used to me making them pose so they have learned that if they just do it.. it will be over with sooner. So yesterday at the park I pretty much tripped in a hold and twisted my ankle... not the one I hurt about 6 months ago..but the other one! It is just my luck! My second soccer game since I hurt my ankle last time and I can't play again already.. I am so mad... But the one good thing is this one isn't half as bad as the last one. I can walk on it and I hope to be able to play soccer in a week!

Well since I have not had any time or anybody to take pics of lately I thought I would share just a few random pics from my New Years weekend! I do not know why they are so small.. hmmm different computer... but Oh well! Anyways.. It has been I don't know how long since me and Leann and Lobsang have all had a weekend together.. Years! It was really fun.. me and Lobsang drove up to Tacoma and stayed with Leann at her place for 4 days. We ate out, had wine and treats.. shopped until we dropped.. laughed until we died..and danced! It was good to be with my two best friends again! Hopefully we can do it again soon! So... I was just thinking about it and I got a new handy dandy point and shoot for Christmas.. which has made me become lets just say LAZY.. I haven't broke out my actual camera for quite some time! SO this weekend I am going to pin down at least two of my nieces and nephews and get some updated pics of them.. I am feeling artistic.. and It needs to happen! Are you ready for Christmas? I am almost done with all my shopping! This is a pic of me and my sister's and my sis in law from the Christmas party my parents had this last Saturday! It was really fun.. and had way too many treats! If I can just make it a few more weeks until Jan 1 then I think I will survive the holidays without doing tooooo much damage to the progress I have made! So Sunday...Me, Lobsang and Leann all did the 5k Run for arthritis. It was soooo fun! It was called the Jingle Bell Run.. and everyone was wearing Christmas stuff and had Jingle Bells tied to their shoes. It was a great way to start the Christmas Season! I have always despised running...let me tell you! BUT, when you can actually run for a while it starts to become fun... I am totally becoming obsessed with the idea of being able to run farther and farther without stopping..to me it's such a challenge and I love it! Don't get me wrong I won't ever be the type that runs a marathon or something a year from now.. that would have to be a miracle. But these little 5k and 8k runs are very fun! We are going to do the Shamrock run in March.. and I can not wait to see how a few months of actually training improves our time from this run to next! Wish me luck! Oh and I pretty much owe it to Lobsang for talking me into the Jingle Bell run... I would have never done it without her prompting! SO THANKS LOB!

So Thanksgiving this year was pretty low key. Much more low key then normal. It was just my mom, dad, me, and my sisters in-laws and family. Usually its all of us.. but Josh was with his inlaws this yr and Kim was out of town. We did end up getting to see Matt and the kids later on in the evening. It was nice though... really relaxing! We actually spent alot of time crafting our plan for the morning after shopping spree! We ended up hitting alot of stores and shopping from about 5 am to 5pm. I didn't get too much stuff.. but Jessie pretty much finished up her shopping! I didn't end up seeing any crazy people pushing old ladies down for the last pair of socks or anything... although that would have made my day a tad more interesting! At the expense of an old lady that is.. so I guess it is a good thing it didn't happen! Hahahaha

Simon is not afraid of any one at the dog park! It is crazy.... he will see two dogs fighting or growling... he runs over and takes one of there sides and gets into the mix! And it always has to be like Pit Bulls or boxers... or something that is bigger then him by a MILE!

So I have to admit, I have turned into one of those dog park people! hahahah I never thought it would happen, but I am sorry dear friends it has. The dog park is a great invention! The first time I went I was like NO WAY these people are nuts! They are a whole different breed of human, but it turns out... I am one of them! Jk not really, kind of I guess.... Well anyways.. it is really great to be able to let Simon run around like crazy and not worry about him getting out.. its all totally fenced! So me and Katie took Simon and Wilson there on Sat. and let them run for a while.. It was fun! I think if people are going to have a pet, they need to invest a little time in them..so I try and get Simon out of the house as often as possible and let him run around, or take him on a walk..... Everyone warns me.. once I have a kid it will be different... I will be like Simon WHO??? And thats Totally Fine... but for now I guess he just passes the time!

Simon is having some issues! Hahahha His hair do... Is in need of some fixing! Apparently since I have stopped taking him to work, and by the time I get off it's to dark to go to the dog park, he has nothing to live for! hahahah When I say that I mean he has become SOOO lazy.... He sleeps all day! And when I get up in the morning he just keeps right on sleeping.
I couldn't figure it out... and then
my mom goes I know why he sleeps all the time!
I was like why? She goes those new curtains in your room! I'm like what??? She goes they are so dark that he thinks its always NIGHT TIME! hahahahah.........I got thick chocolate brown curtains the other day and since it's winter and im never in my room anyways except for at night... I haven't really been pulling them open.. So my dog was all confused and thought it was always night! POOR LITTLE GUY!!! hahahhah This lack of energy and the fact that he's becoming an old man, has translated into a few extra pounds around the belly I have noticed lately on him..... He has always been so SKINNY.. but I guess being the worlds laziest dog will do that to yah! Until next time ADIOS!

Christmas Starts the Day after Halloween Aparently

Just had to get that off my chest. The Christmas season doesn't start the day after Thanksgiving anymore... NO my friends it starts the day after Halloween. Not that I totally mind, but I don't want any one fooling themselves... Christmas season is here and it is here to stay until DECEMBER 26th. Well now that I am done with that, I had a great weekend. I went and saw Mandie.... one of the many things we did was go to a country line dance club. That was a first.. and I have to say it was really fun! We were not quite prepared, fashion wise... but it was still a really good time. Next time I will bring my Cowboy hat and boots....... well probably not, but hey I will try to fit in a little better. This week I have decided to buckle down and get my butt moving..... I am 5 lbs. away from losing a total of 50 lbs so far.. and I have got to get GOING! I have a goal for new yrs. ... and the way I'm going Ill never be there! I have gotten into a little bit of a CHAI TEA obsession.... So this week I have decided I have to kick the Chai habit and get serious. I have a few jeans that I have bought lately that are calling my name.. but not for about another 10lbs... hahahaha WISH ME LUCK... cutting the Chai cold turkey!

Ok......so after MUCH planning and preperation me and my dad met at the gym today after work...........We were going to go to a step aerobics/ kick boxing /butt kicking class. We go into the room where the class is... and it was super jam packed. There were Steps set up all over the place.... so I go and grab one from the back of the room (that wasn't set up yet) and procede to move one up a little so I can put mine next to my dads. When this lady comes walking over and looking at me... I go oh was this your step? And she goes YES, and I go well I was gonna scoot it up a little is that ok? And she goes NO.. I want it right there.. SO I go OK and I put mine in front of hers Instead.. So im not next to my dad.........Grrrrr and she couldn't see the teacher cause I was right in front of her now.. serves her right! So we are standing around now waiting for the class to start.. when out of no where another lady comes up to me and goes, is this my step? I go no, I got it from the back of the room and set it up! And then the other lady who told me not to move her step Chimes IN! Oh her step was there, did you move it? I GO NOOOOOOOOOOOO I went and got this step and SET IT UP.... She goes well where did it go then??? I go I DON'T KNOW???????? Now you have to realize about this time I WAS GETTING TICKED OFF.... With all of this step stealing crap... And mind you, no one had like a water bottle or a towel or anything sitting on there step they just assume everyone know that its taken... even though I didn't take it. So the girl who thought I stole her step goes to the front of the WHOLE class and goes Does any one know where the step that was right back there went???? THEY ALL LOOK ALIKE!!!!!!!!!!! I was pretty much in shock at this point.. and everyone looked at ther like you must be an idiot? So any ways the lady behind me was still harrassing me about the step, when I turned around to my dad and go.............THEY THINK I STOLE HER STEP! And he goes what the crap? She didn't steal your stinking step... hahhahahaha IT WAS NUTSSSSSSSSSS I don' t know what was wrong with these people. So the girl who thinks her step was stolen goes down stairs and gets another step, and about this time me and my dad were so mad, he turns to me and goes lets GO... hahhhahah so before the class even starts we LEAVE........and who do we run into on the stairs.. the girl who thinks I stole her step.. She goes I got another one you guys can keep that one. I didn't mean to accuse you.. I couldn't even GO THERE......So I just raised my hand to her... as if to say YOUR NUTS.... So needless to say we both drove home TICKED... and went on the treadmill... My Dad vows never to go back! hahahhaha I just can't believe my first class was to be my last! These ladies are serious about their step arobics.. Oh and its 12:25 and I am super tired so please excuse the spelling, punctuation, lack of quotation marks ETC.......... I'm just not into all that jazz right now. Well anyways........thats the craziest thing that has happened to me in a while........... so I had to share it! Oh and the pic at the top LOVE IT! I fell in the mud pretty much to get it.. and my shoes are still covered in mud.. but hey it was worth it!

So this was the last weekend for football. All except for Canon, he has one more game this weekend. I don't know what the guys are gonna do? They are gonna go into like an after football season depression! We had three games in a row on Sunday.... First was Noah and Sawyer's team.. they were undefeated until there last game.... not to shabby! And they both had awesome games, I think a couple touchdowns each? I don't know I can't keep track any more. Then was Levi's team.. he plays for the Kelso Colts... they didn't end up winning either... but Levi had an awesome game, and he ran for a touchdown and alot of yards! Then last but not least was Canon's game, they won and Canon had two touchdowns. They are all so fun to watch.. I talk about the guys missing football, I am afraid to admit.... I just might miss it too! Maybe I like the part of getting a Chai Tea and cuddling up with a blanket in the stands..thats kind of fun too!

On Saturday morning I met up with Parker and his mom at their house, and we got started checking out their property for potential photo spots. Turns out there was a TON! Their house and property was beautiful and perfect for what we were looking for. It was a little hard at first to figure out what to do with Parker. Since I had never met him, I didn't know what he was into.... or what feel he wanted his picks to have. As you can tell from looking at his pics.... we went for the country, nature look! And it was fun to do something like this... since all the pics I have been taking lately are more urban feeling. I think we got some great shots of Parker. I also got one of my favorite shots I have taken in a long time.. out on their property..I will post it soon! This is our little friend Oleg.... He was nice but kind of a tad annoying.. hahahah. He was with his parents and they were pretty boring, so he kind of latched on to us, and was trying to hang out with us and control what and when we were gonna do stuff. We finally had to be blunt with Oleg cause he wouldn't take a hint..."WE are not on your TIME schedule." Good thing he didn't find us until like three days before we left! hahaha This picture was on the Sly.. Cause I didn't want him to know I was taking a pic of him or he would of thought we really wanted to be his best friend!

Just say NO to speedos! I saw way too many speedos while I was on Vacation. Europeans are totally into them! Thank goodness Americans for the most part arn't! Sorry for the pic quality.. all these pics from Mexico are on my little point and shoot.. I didn't want to bring my expensive camera.. In cases something happened to it!

I had to take this pic on the sly also. I felt so bad for these guys. They are out picking up the seaweed that washes up on the beach in front of the resort. By the time they have raked it all up and put it in there vehicle the other half of the beach that they just raked is already covered with seaweed AGAIN!! It's a loosing battle... I couldn't hardly handle watching I felt so bad. But there is two ways to look at it.... there is the way I was feeling and then there is also the view of alot of those people that were working doing that sort of stuff. I heard from alot of them that they are super thankful for there jobs and that they are great jobs and if the resorts weren't there, they wouldnt have a job. Soooo I guess I need to choose to look at it that way!

Football is here again! I don't know how, but I have been totally sucked in! I am at every game no matter how much I don't want to wake up early every Sat and Sun Morning! It's like a cult! hahaha This is Levi at his first game getting ready for his debut! He is doing really good! Last game I went to he tackled a kid so hard I could hear there pads smashing into eachother all the way at the top of the stands! It's so fun to watch all the boys play. Katie and I went on our long awaited trip down the coast to California! We took Highway 101 most of the way and it was sooo much fun! We saw lots of memorable stuff and stopped at any and every little town or attraction that we wanted to see! Here is Katie trying to make a fire, our fires were hit or miss... either it was really easy to start or realllllyy hard to start... I think this was one of the reallly hard to start fires.

Napa Valley! We went to some really cool wineries and tried quite a few different kinds. It was really cool to see all the different buildings. They were all bigger and better than the next one!

Here is one of our many camp spots! This one was the one near Monterey Bay. To our left was Norm our 65 yr. old friend and to our right was a family from Spain who had taken a month to drive around the united states camping with there little girl. She was so cute and all she spoke was spanish and it didnt matter to her that we didn't, she would just talk to us as if we understood! Soo cute!

What I'm up to this Summer!

So this summer is shaping up to be a good one! I am getting ready to leave for Idaho for about 9 days of camping at some lake some where... All I know is Idaho, and i'm leaving the rest up to my mom and dad. As soon as I get back my Bro leaves for Italy for 2 Weeks...... So I have to survive work all by my lonesome and then I'm off on another trip! Me and Katie are doing a driving trip towards California, camping along the way. And I say towards California cause we don't know how far we will get with gas prices at 2 million dollars a gallon! But we hope to see the red wood forest and Napa Valley and stuff! And last but not least me and my sisters have booked a trip to Cancun for late Sept. early Oct. !!! We are all REALLY RIDICULOUSLY excited. Like we have so long to wait but we talk about it like everyday as if we are leaving next week! I just got my passport! Man I feel so American!!!! hahahah Except for the fact that I look like a freak in my pic. The guy at Walgreen's took a few pics and he was like "yah ummm these won't work I can't see your eyes" hahaha I'm like yah that happens alot.. He goes, well they have to be able to see the color of your eyes or they wont give you your passport. SO needless to Say I LOOK VERY SURPRISED in my pic. I am straining to open my eyes wide.. It doesn't come natural! Yah and what else am I up to? Nothing much really on photography side of things. I haven't been any where cool or inspirational in a while so I haven't had any pics to blog. I am hoping that these trips I am going on will provide for some good photos. I am debating on bringing my camera to Mexico... I have heard alot about stuff being stolen out of your room... So I don't want to miss out on cool photos but I also can't afford to loose my camera! We will see. Anyways! Still playing soccer we are about 4 and 2 which isn't toooo bad! So, I had one of the best days Saturday! I couldnt have done anything better! Me and my mom woke up and went to Saturday Market and we took Simon and he loved it. Then we went to the Tulip festival in woodland.......thats where I got all these pics. It was beautiful and WARM! Then we went and got lunch and took it to a park in Kalama along the river and it was SO NICE! We stopped at my sisters house and visited her and headed home to get ready! Also I got my new jeans I ordered at American Eagle .com in the mail and they could not have fit better! Now that in its self was amazing! Since I have never even had jeans from there and didnt know how in the world they would even fit.... well they did hahha and then we went to PF Changs with my sisters and Sundee.. For Sundee's Bday! It was perfect.. I love days like that! I told everyone the one thing that could have made the day better is if I was doing all this with the man of my dreams and not my Mom! hahaah No..... I love hanging out with her! Anyways Off to bed. I am super tired so Im not even paying attention to if what I wrote even made any sense to everyone but hey whatever!

This past weekend we went to Long Beach camping... It was a family affair! I didn't really use my camera at all cause it was really rainy out side! I don't really have anything to show or much to say! I'm not good at writing on my blog... I always just want to show a few pics and write a little description and be done with it. So I decided I would write a little bit today! What have I been up to lately you ask? Well I have started to play Soccer! Something very out of the ordinary for me... I have always been a long standing hater of Soccer. I used to say when I would watch it, "who in there right mind would want to play that sport........ It's so annoying, as soon as you get it to one end of the field some one just kicks it all the way back to the other side. And then you have to run all the way back down the field!" But that was coming from some one who had never even tried it. Since my sis talked me into it I Like it ALOT. It's really fun and now I appreciate having to run around.... Since im trying to drop some POUNDS! 30 lbs lost and still going strong! I have been working out for a while on Tuesdays and Thursdays with a trainer and Sundee my Sister in law and Lisa her good friend. It works great because you have accountability. What else??? HMMMMM I am trying to plan some summer trips.... and make sure I have all the funds ready when I need them.. hahaha

So on Monday I had the day off................ Thank you Martin Luther King. And I talked my mom into heading over to Multnomah Falls. Turns out I am pretty dumb. I guess I didnt realize the weather at the falls would be a little bit different then in Battle Ground. IT was FREEZing.... So we made it to the bridge before my mom had a little run in with some ice. Needless to say we left after a few pics and had out picnic lunch in the car. Oh well maybe be will try again in spring. Well its about time! Im going on a trip finally! Me and Kayli are going to VEGAS!!!! July 4th to the 11th............. Should be fun, and that trip will be followed up by another week at the end of July at Creation Fest, July is shapeing up to be a good month! Here are a few pics I took lately of Mount Hood when I was waiting for Kayli to head up to Seattle. The color mountain one is a little bit dramatic with the sun, but I kind of like it like that! Yesterday, Simon and I went with Katie and Justin down to the waterfront and took a few pics. After Simon trying to attack a Black Lab and digging in mole holes like a crazy animal we got a few good shots! Then we topped it off with a little Who Song and Larry's! YUM YUM! Im heading out right now to meet up with Katie and Kayli to check out the rose festival! Tomorrow my sister and I are going to be selling our wares at the Kalama Festival! We will see how that goes! Memorial Day Weekend!

Did you have a good weekend???? I did! We went camping up at Randle. I was only there for 2 nights but man was it fun and relaxing. All but two of my nieces and nephews were there. So I got a few cute pictures! The pool was awesome and the sauna and I actually got a little color! Finally the first roast of the season. Anyways First Thursday in the Pearl District is coming up on June 7th be there of be square!

These are some pictures I recently did of "The Nappe Children" Hahaha Kayli hated when I named their picture file that! They wanted some pictures to give to their mom at her Surprise party this weekend! SOO... SHHHHH....!!! Kayli showed me the last picture those three had together, lets just say Dom was a BABY!! and Kayli and Kendra were superimposed on either side, with like fog around their floating heads! 80's!! So I think she is gonna like these new one! And this is just a few we blew some up and put the rest in a book! Why am I writing this if its a secret???? Well Wendy doesnt have the internet at her house, so I am just taking my chances! And no one knows about my blog yet... Well except Katie she looked at it and said just what I thought she would say POTION!!! HEHEHE

OK, So I have been a blog stocker for a while! I get to work and I check all my favorite blogs, mostly photography blogs! And then Michelle my sisters friend mentioned me getting one to show people my new favorite pictures,and stuff that I am up to, and I thought why not??? So one thing you should know about me if you are going to look at my blogs is, I know how to spell and use punctuation but I just dont care to! Sooooo If you notice alot of run on sentences and stuff dont worry im not really that dumb, I just dont think it really matters!
